Modest Proposal: American Strong

Note: This is entirely satirical. This post doesn’t reflect the author in any way shape or form. Except for the fact that he is a literary genius.

Currently, the United States economy is not performing to its potential. It has been distracted from other issues that simply could be eliminated with good ole fashion Darwinism.

The country decides to give benefits to those that cannot maintain standard wealth. The handouts that they receive are the only things keeping these people (known as the poor) in existence. Why do they deserve these handouts? Isn’t America the land of the free and the home of the brave? The brave take risks and are responsible for their actions. Our forefathers came to this country risking their lives, with their futures unknown. They were in no way helped across the Atlantic. So why should the poor and the illegal immigrants (a major percentage of the poor) think that they deserve an easy way? They need to earn it and if they can’t survive then they shouldn’t.

Doesn’t scientific evidence support this, Darwinism anyone? Only the strong survive? But, no this country has become incredibly soft! Grade schools no longer have any sort of competition that ends in a winner or a loser. How does anyone learn without dealing with adversity? Handouts are like pulling the goalie when you’re up by one with a minute remaining. They do absolutely nothing productive and actually cause more harm then good.

Everyone deserves a chance. However, no one deserves an unfair advantage. If poor people can’t deal, then they should not come into our country and or do not deserve to live in the U.S. of A.

Anyone have any objections to equality? Didn’t think so! Don’t tax the rich for being successful, how does that encourage success? It doesn’t so treat everyone the same and America will be strong again!Image

  1. Well, how do we get rid of the week?

    NOT a JOKE:

Ann Coulter, conservative (I guess, I might say unhinged media hound to not insult true conservatives, but anyway, she is on Fox a lot)” >a href=
“”>Coulter was pessimistic about the future of conservatism, saying @(2:30): “People are suffering. The country is in disarray. If Mitt Romney cannot win in this economy, then the tipping point has been reached. We have more takers than makers and it’s over. There is no hope.”
