Dodd-Frank is by far one of the most controversial pieces of financial legislation of all time. The United States government passed this bill in response to the 2007-2008 Financial Collapse in hopes it would add an extra layer of regulation to the economy and financial services. However, many believe that the extremely long, complex document is too much and will eventually cause more harm than good. Many in the United States are already suffering and it is my hope that this white paper to the United States Congress can stop the pain Dodd-Frank has already caused in its tracks.
